The Mérinchal antimony mine, also known as the La Peyrouse mine, has been batch exploited from 1889 to 1932. Poorly known, having most probably not yielded spectacular samples, it is poorly documented in mineralogical collections. The abundance of secondary microminerals makes this site an interesting spot to discover the mineralogy of antimony.
