Toponymy changed during time. Mining society status refers to Valaury mine. Actual toponymy is Vallaury. Some documents also refer to "Marivala mine" or "Marivallat mine" (toponymy can change too... "Marri vallat" means "bad valley" in the old provençal language, it's a brook name near the mine)

Old Pb-Zn deposit in the Plan de la Tour Granite.
Several veins in the hills with dumps around the village Le plan de la Tour.

Veins are mainly located in the granite. They are, from North to South:
- N°3 (Bérenguier vein)
- N°1 (Victor Vein, Also called Les Martins vein)
- N°2 (Jaudel vein)
- N°4 (Lauva Vein)
- N°5 (Les Communaux vein, in gneiss and schist)
- N°6 (Emponse vein: continuity in the granite of the N°5 vein)
- N°7 (Lorgues vein)
- N°8 oriented N-S, slightly N.W. in the granite-schist contact

The mine has been worked from 1909 till 1930. Some older small workings are known.
