Occurrences of Fe-As ores along the ridge Fuorcla Minor - Piz dals Laj, between 2500 and 2600 m, part of the Fe-As mineralization (mined with interruptions since the 13th century) which runs from the south slope of Piz dal Laj in the north-northwest to La Motta in the south-southeast.
The Fe-As mineralisation is hosted here in quartz veins embedded in orthogneiss, sometimes at the contact with chlorite-mica schists or porphyroids.
