Kerman meteorite dense collection area; Kermon meteorite DAC
Area in the western part of the central Lut Desert, which encompasses most of the Kalut geographic region.
More than 200 meteorites (including Shahdad meteorite) have been classified, many other meteorites are under classification. All the collected meteorites are ordinary chondrites (OCs). The most abundant by far are the highly weathered H5 distributed in the northwest of Kalut area.
