An Au-As deposit close to the contact between marble and greywackes, and spatially associated with a dolerite dyke.
The deposit was subject to test-mining in 1916-20 (Bugge 1922), and studied into detail in 1983-86 by the Folldal Verk A/S company (Korneliussen et al 1986, reference missing in NGU report). Drill-core data shows Au-grades up to 6-7 ppm in 3 m sections, but without reliable tonnages.

This deposit is according to Angvik/Sandstad (2014) of Paleoproterozoic age, not Devonian.

The LiDAR map suggests the presence of at least 5-6 prospects, maybe more.
