Alpe Mustione (1670 m) is an Alpine pasture located in the middle sector of Vallone del Gravio.

Tourmaline-bearing gneiss and garnet-bearing mica schist crop out west and east of Alpe Mustione. Lenses of epidote-rich metabasites (prasinites) embedded in these rocks are observable just to the southwest of the huts as well as near the waterfall of Rio Gravio and in the valley of Rio Coscia di Donna.
