Osborne Mining District
This prospect is located in the SW/4,SW/4, T4N,R7W, on the northeast side of a range of hills oriented northwest-southeast. Access is by dirt road that follows Coyote Creek to the Scott Mine, in this vicinity there is a fork to the northwest. Park where this road crosses the section 15-17 line, there is an arroyo on the northeast side of the road. Hike approximately 1 km to the northeast (through a low pass in the hills then turn northwest, the prospect pit is hard to find in the desert scrub, it is lower than where the hill gets very steep. Pit and dump cover an area about 10 x 8 meters.
Prospect was discovered in 1967 by exploration geologists mapping in the area.
