The Fibbia is a 2,738 m (ca. 8,983 ft) high mountain in the Swiss Lepontine Alps; the Fibbia overlooks the Gotthard Pass, in the canton of Ticino. Swiss coordinates 685´055 / 155´210.

A well-studied locality producing an abundance of Alpine-type minerals from a cleft system.

The locality has been described by Parker (1973) on pages 183, 184, 191 and 207. The location of xenotime is recorded from here, but the locations for bazzite at La Fibbia do not match the descriptions given in later literature.
