A carbonatite complex with uranian pyrochlore. The uranian pyrochlore is concentrated in two main rock types: potassic feldspar-sodic pyroxene rock characterized by reddish feldspar and sodic pyroxene rock composed of sodic pyroxene, biotite, calcite and apatite. Fragments of potassic feldspar-sodic pyroxene rock partly replaced by biotite and sodic pyroxene are common in the sodic pyroxene rock, and both rock types are partly replaced by carbonate and contain a few percent magnetite, pyrite and pyrrhotite. Zones rich in uranian pyrochlore cut across the two rock types and the contact between the two types dips steeply outwards from the centre of the complex.
