The locality consist of a 15m long cut in the rock face and a water filled (2002) pit. The dump is estimated to 350m3. The locality is marked in the map made by Gjesdal (1886). The host rock for the ore is a fine grained, grayish green, felsic gneiss.

The minerals are found in the dump.
