A little work was conducted in 1921 by the American Molybdenite Company, who opened a few shallow pits and stripped along a dyke 15 to 20 feet wide for a distance of 200 feet. The dyke consists of pink spar, in part graphic granite, and carrying much disseminated hornblende and other iron-bearing minerals. Quartz occurs in narrow stringers. Mr. S. Orser did a little further work in 1927, since when the property has been idle. About 2 cars of spar are stated to have been shipped. (Spence 1932)

In granite pegmatite cutting biotite gneiss and crystalline limestone.

"The pegmatite was exposed by a small pit (3 m by 3 m and 1 m deep) on the Harvey Plunkett farm... Both the dump and the pit are now overgrown. Another pit about 200 m to the south yielded two car-loads of feldspar obtained from a similar dyke."
