Ref.: New York State Museum Bulletin No. 199, Alling, Harold L. (July, 1917), The Adirondack Graphite Deposits: Fig. 1, 11, 20. A graphite prospect in Ticonderoga Township at the Crown Point Twp. line, about 2 miles SE of Ironville. Mineralization is in a pyroxene-scapolite contact zone (sedimentary rocks & white granite). Workings featured a long chain of shallow pits and a short drift.
