This is a gold mine about 5 kilometres south south-east of Coolgardie. It is presently operated by Focus Minerals Ltd.

The underground mine here accesses five main ore bodies: Tindals, Cyanide, Perseverance, Empress, and Countess. (Perseverance is not the same mine as the one near Leinster, where some specimens have come from). Cyanide has been abandoned for thirteen years. The underground workings are at a shallow depth of 400m, and have an expected mine life till 2017. There is another ore zone called Bird in Hand, but at present (2012) this has not been mined.

Open pit mining is also occurring at three locations in the immediate area, which started mid 2011. Prior to this, to June 1994, the mine had produced 1 241 000 tonnes of ore at 4.15 g/t yielding 5150 kg Au. The host rock is komatiites intruded by dolerite, gabbro, and quartz porphyry sills. There are narrow (under 20 m) oblique dextral brittle ductile shear zones located along the sub-vertically north striking sills/komatiite contacts.

The main lode strikes north-south, as a discontinuous series of overlapping lenses of felsic intrusive material, separated by thin walls of amphibolite schist. The lenses pinch and swell, join and separate, and pinch out completely at depth and strike.

The schist is intruded by 30-60 metre post folding body of coarse to medium grained altered leucogabbro. The lenses contain stockworks of veinlets disseminated within aplite, and within less mineralised zones of fine grained silicified material with minor sulphides.

The deposit lies on the south fold limb of an east-west fold system, in recrystallised mafic schist, within a series of mafic to ultramafic lavas, interbedded clastics, and minor graphitic slates.
