"South of Razès on the D60A. The local quarries yield autunite, beryl, muscovite, quartz, and topaz." [Belot, 1978]

Ancient feldspar quarry in a phosphate pegmatite. A find of torbernite in 1947 led to the discovery of the La Crouzille deposit, which later became the economically most important uranium deposit in France.
Located near Chabanne, 2.5 km WSW of St Sylvestre and around 5 km S of Razès.
