Carrières Les Rochettes, Bertrix, Province de Luxembourg, Belgique
A series of three quarries south of Bertrix situated on both sides of the road towards Muno-Herbeumont.
Not much is known regarding minerals other than quartz crystals found in the main quarry, probably and mainly because it is not allowed to enter that part of the operation.
A quartz vein containing a Pb-Mo mineralisation was located in the small separate north-east extension of the quarry. Red Anatase crystals were also found there.
Very nice albite crystals were found in the recent south-west extension of the quarry, located across the road.
The quarries are operated by the Houthoofdt-Collette company and should not be entered without their permission.
