| ⓘ Childrenite ? Formula: Fe2+Al(PO4)(OH)2 · H2O Description: The British Museum holds a specimen of childrenite from the collection of Sir Arthur Russell, but not collected by himself, which is said to come from this mine, but no childrenite was found in a more recent re-examination of the remaining dumps. Otherwise, reports on childrenite occurring here might be the result of a confusion with brownish scorodite (Braithwaite and Cooper, 1982). |
