The Beautiful Sunday prospect is the most northerly site controlled by Western Areas NL, which has active nickel mines nearby. It is hosted by the Forrestania Greenstone Belt, east of Hyden, and 12 kilometres north of the active Flying Fox Mine. The area is also being explored for gold.

Immediately south-east of the North Ironcap hill.

Ultramafic unit in contact with banded iron formation, chert, and metasedimentary rocks, dipping 45 to 55 degrees north north-east, locally vertical. To the south-west is altered amphibolite, tremolite-chlorite, banded iron formation, metasedimentary rocks.

The ultramafic unit is tabular, party serpentinized granular textured metadunite, 600 metres long, by 30 to 55 metres wide, with an irregular upper appendage of metaperidotite. Quartz-feldspar porphyry veins cut the ultramafic rock, and banded iron formation.

Disseminated Ni sulphides are at or near the base of the tabular unit, grading at 1.2-1.5% Ni. There is an open cut at the site down to 70 metres exposing a violarite-pyrite rich zone, 160 metres long, containing also pentlandite, and minor chalcopyrite. Millerite locally abundant.
