In honor of Dr. Jan Hloušek (10 March 1950 Karlovy Vary - 27 April 2014), collector, geologist, mineralogist and expert on Jáchymov ore area and its minerals. He wrote the encyclopaedic, two volume book Jachymov-Joachimsthal. The species honzaite is also named after him.

On the surface of strongly altered ore fragments containing dominant tennantite and chalcopyrite.
