First Recorded Locality:
Occurs as anhedral, elongated grains and veinlets, up to 8 x 40 microns in size, filling interstices of cupalite II or, rarely, present within khatyrkite masses. The second reported zinc aluminide from this assemblage is 'UM1985-03-E:AlZn'.
Contacts of the mineral with cupalite and khatyrkite are corrosive.
