Pautov in 2008 in honor of Dimitri Vasilievich Nalivkin (Дмитрий Васильевич Наливкин) (25 August 1889, Petersburg, Russia – 3 March 1982, Komarovo, Russia), Soviet geologist. His most significant achievement was the creation of the index geological maps of the USSR.
