A quarry in a monchiquite dyke. The quarry works are centred on the dark grey porphyritic "Bumbo Latite Member". A range of zeolites is found here.

The quarry was officially opened 22 March 1974 and is located on the western side of the Princes Highway at Bombo.

Not to be confused with the Bombo Headland Quarry, Kiama, Camden County, New South Wales, Australia.
