A quarry in gabbro. Located ¼ mile NW of the former Baltimore & Ohio RR bridge over Brandywine Creek. Workings were 800 feet wide and 100 feet deep (or high at the face). The former quarry is now part of the Delaware State Park System (Alapocas Woods Park).
