A Au occurrence/prospect located in the NE¼ sec. 7, T17S, R10E, SBM, 4.6 km (2.8 miles) S of Ocotillo, W of the mouth area of Davies Canyon, on Bureau of Land Management administered land (located claim). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit (Mineral occurrence model information: Model code: 273; USGS model code: 36a; Deposit model name: Low-sulfide Au-quartz vein; Mark3 model number: 27), hosted in schist and marble. Biotite schist is intensely sheared and folded and pervasively hematite-stained. The schist contains bands of marble and quartz veins. Pegmatite dikes up to 10 feet thick are present. Associated rocks include Late Cretaceous tonalite. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic granitic and metamorphic rocks undivided and/or Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 11 (Jacumba).

Workings include unspecified surface openings.

Analytical data results: SED sample: 10,046 (???) ounce/cubic yard Au, minus 20-mesh flakes.
