Cabezo de San Ginés is a hill that extends for several villages belonging to Cartagena, so it appears repeatedly in each one.
Mine located east of the town of "El Estrecho de San Ginés" at the foot of the hill "Cabeza de San Ginés".
It is a reservoir of morphology in veins with superficial alteration with the formation of significant levels of Fe and Mn oxides (gossan) with carbonates.
The mine is particularly interesting because of the presence of (hydro)hetaerolite and chalcophanite coating the surfaces of the holes with other minerals in the limonite/gossan.
