Ref.: Eckel, Edwin B. (1997), Minerals of Colorado, updated & revised: 17. This location is at an elevation of about 10,882 ft above sea level on the north side of Wheeler Basin (sec. 15, T. 1 N., R. 74 W.). This is about 12 mi east of Granby; it is 5 mi southeast of Monarch Lake via Arapahoe Creek.
