Structure: Faults

Alteration: Altered Slate; Silicification; Sericitization Of Pike Orsill

Deposit: Quartz vein, stibnite occurs As pods, blebs & veinlets in the quartz vein and in the fractured sill. On the lower level, the vein opens up into a 48-inch mass of quartz containing 900s of stibnite up to 2 feet across. Lawrence (1963,p23) reported analyses of 12.71 and 33.42% antimony, but by selective mining and hand-sorting, it is possible to ship ore running 60% sb. Silver content is 20-50 ppm, and 0.3-0.2 ppm au. ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept

Deposit type: Simple Sb (veins, pods, etc)

Development: Owned by j.p. Williams in earlier years; this has been the principal producer of antimony in the district. It was first worked As aunit with the i.u.x. Mine; hence difficulty in crediting production to each.

Geology: Best ore shoots occur associated with the limestone layers
