Deposit: The vein is about 2 ft wide. Quartz and pyrite are banded. Quartz and sulfides are crushed, pulverized with quartzite. Prospectors discovered gad in maysville canyon in 1882. In 1890's a chilean mill and 4 amalgamating pans were placed in krun canyon below the mine to treat the ore, but no production figures are available. Property was leased in the 1930's with sporadic shipments of high-grade ore. 4 adits in 1930's with a total of about 5000 ft. In workings. Patented claim
