The "Ozark-Mahoning Group" is a small group of mines that were operated by the Ozark-Mahoning Company between the late 1930s to the mid 1970s.

These mine shafts were located in Sections 25, 26, 34, 35 and 36 in Township 11, Range 9 and were labeled as "Mahoning Mines" on United States topographic maps.

Note: The "Ozark-Mahoning Group" should not be considered a separate "sub-district" as mine ownership shouldn't be considered a geographic hierarchy.
