Miniera di S'Acqua Bona, Fluminimaggiore, Provincia del Sud Sardegna, Sardegna, Italia

Pb-Zn mine located to the north of Fluminimaggiore, near the border with the Arbus municipal territory.

Some prospect workings were driven between the end of the 1840s and the beginning of the 1860s. Later, the concession was conferred to the company "Compagnia Generale delle Miniere", which also operated the nearby Nieddoris mine. S'Acqua Bona mine exploited two NW-SE trending polymetallic veins, with dominant Pb-Zn sulfides and subordinate Cu, Ag and Ni-Co minerals, named Speranza and Nieddoris. The underground levels, named Bartolucci, Fortuna, and Maria, were connected to the Lionello vertical shaft. The mining concession was taken over by the company "Società Mineraria e Metallurgica Pertusola" in 1947, by the company "Società Monteponi e Montevecchio S.p.A." in 1965, and by SOGERSA in 1971, which definitively renounced its mining rights in 1975.
