A former underground Ag-Au-W-Pb-As-Cu-Zn-Be-Mn mine located in the Thule Creek area. Started 1875 and closed 1883. Discovered by Jack Moore & Corning. Owned by Dan Gillette & Charles Hoffman who bought it about 1876-77 for $60,000; St. Louis-Yavapai Co. (19886-1888) as the Conqueror Mine; Wager Brothers; and, Frank L. Carlisle (1926). Ultimately closed 1942. This mine includes a group of 3 patented claims: Tip Top, Keystone, and Joker; and 3 unpatented claims: Tip Top South, Very Top and Black Jack. Claims extend into the N½NE¼SE¼ and the NW¼NW¼SE¼ of sec. 10.

Mineralization is a sharply filled fissure vein striking N.50º to 60ºE. and dipping 65º to 70º NW. Granite and pegmatite constitute the country rocks. Here and there they contain inclusions of schist. A dike of white rhyolite porphyry 200 feet wide crops out about 500 feet NW of the shaft. The vein ranges from a tight seam to 6 feet wide in the stopes. The principal, and almost only, gangue mineral is quartz, comb-structured in part. The mineralization includes the generic "ruby silver." Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration was noted. An associated rock unit is the Crazy Basin Quartz Monzonite.

Area structures include a rather massive and structureless quartz monzonite batholith.

Workings include a 600 foot deep main shaft (1881) with winzes, levels and tunnels. Later the No. 2 tunnel and an 800 foot deep, inclined shaft; the principal tunnel is 200 feet below the collar of the shaft and connects with it.
