Old mine located NE of Bruncu Baccu Scottis at the head of the valley drained by Riu Peddi Cotta. These workings as well as those of Peddicotta, Arcu Is Pangas, and Bruncu Gironi, rather than through the winding valley of Riu Peddi Cotta, are more easily reachable from the Is Crabilis valley or from the dirt road that branches off from State Road SS 125 near Case Demuro.

Some works in this area were performed by local prospectors before 1830. A quartz-calcite vein rich in argentiferous galena and silver minerals (acanthite and native silver) was prospected (1880) and exploited (1882-1915) by the company Società Anonima Miniere di Lanusei.
