An old quarry near the lighthouse, where albite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, and secondary copper carbonates have been reported (Antofilli et al., 1985).
Note: In some collections there are specimens of cacoxenite (and other phosphates) attributed to this locality. As of today cacoxenite is not confirmed from Cava del Faro and most probably all these cacoxenite specimens are from the nearby Rio San Niccolò locality.
