A locality described by Müller et al. (2006).

He described the quarry as a 7 m wide, 4 m high and 10 m long underground workings, ending in a 20 m high, water-filles stope.
This pegmatite is interesting, while during the second worldwar the Germans mined here for uranium minerals and muscovite.
Müller spells the name as "Bjortjørn", but the name on modern maps is spelled as Bjortjønn.

Originally this locality was registered as being located in the Mykland parish, but it is actually closer to Hynnekleiv, which is located in between Mykland and Bjortjønn.
