Tectonics: Mangas Trench, A Ne-Sw Structural Low.

Commodity: Advanced waste-water treatment plants, organic fertilizer production

Deposit: 2 tuff beds separated by 20 ft of mudstone, lower bed is vitric tuff 3-5 ft thick with 70-90% clinoptilolite; bed is 0.5 ft thick with 48% clinoptilolite, 48% chabazite; upper bed is 1 ft thick with 60% clinoptilolite.

Deposit type: Sedimentary zeolites: Zeolites in tuffs of open hydrologic systems (BC

Geology: Occur in flat lying sequence of lacustrine green and brown mudstones and claystones. The zeolitized airfall tuffs are interbedded with the cactus flat beds of the upper part of the gila conglomerate.

Ore(s): Alteration Of Vitric Tuff Bed
