Located on the western slope of Mt. Kjørisfjell (Gautelifjell), 3km NE of the boundary stone nr 257, high up in the mountain (at 1040 m a.s.l.), about 19km from Fjellbu and 29km from the sea (Skjomen).

Coordinates are from NGU, not confirmed.
