Vote for your favorite mineral in #MinCup26! - Quartz vs. Asagiite
It's a classic vs a newbie as the most common named mineral in the crust Quartz is up against an exceedingly-rare sea foam-green mineral discovered just a few years ago Asagiite.

Tin-tungsten mine. Pegmatite vein.

Mining concession no. 2784 "Vermilhas no. 1", registered on 10-11-1952.

It's not totally clear this mining claim is the same place where the phosphates were described by Correia Neves in 1966, as there are other small prospects in the Vermilhas area. The work by Correia Neves refers only to an area named "Candieira", which is not shown in the topographical maps, and the inhabitants of the area have no recollection of this name.
