The deposit consists of 1–2 m sulfide lenses that occur within 10–50 m extensively deformed gabbronorite (i.e. in most cases, recrystallized to amphibolite) lenses in contact with a granitic gneiss. The gabbronorite and amphibolite hosting the mineralization display a strong foliation and are constrained to shear zones, with extensive recrystallization of primary mineralogy. In terms of the sulfide mineralization, the sulfide minerals occur either as 5–10 cm veins (Fig. 3g) or as 0.3–1 m lenses of massive sulfides.
