Köppen climate type:
During the Early Carboniferous, bauxite-precursor rocks underwent weathering, sedimentation, and diagenesis, forming the Lower Carboniferous Jiujialu Formation bauxite deposits. The thickness of the aluminiferous rock series of the Jiujialu Formation is between 3 and 20 m, with the majority of the deposits having the average thickness of 10 m.
