A mine just north of the summit of South Mountain. It was part of the Golconda group of mines.
Alteration: Oxidized

Deposit: Diorite is medium grained, gray, with an excess of hornblende over biotite. The limestone is white, blocky and marbleized, with black streaks of silica.

Development: Easternmost claim of golconda group ; patented in 1927 , but blm land in 1971 ?

Geology: Age of limestone and schist is unknown, pre cret.
