Quartz-sulfide veins within dark Silurian shales, with both cataclasis and metasomatosis marks within / in their vicinity.

The mining field has the size of 6200 x 1250 m, with one of its limits NW to Golejów.

First exploration/mining activity was during the Middle Ages; re-exploration was in XIX/XX centuries.

Example mining activity (gold-bearing arsenopyrite) was "nearby Pilchowice-Nielestno train station".
