A S-salt-Br-limestone deposit located 8.8 km (5.5 miles) SSE of Beaumont center, on private land. The dome was discovered in 1901 and sulfur was discovered in 1950. Operated by Texas Gulf (sulfur), and Texas Brine Corporation (salt & bromine). First produced in 1952 and last produced in 1976. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is . Bromine used for the recharge of water softeners in industrial water systems.

Mineralization is a salt deposit (Mineral occurrence model information: Model code: 255; USGS model code: 35a.7 (35ag); Deposit model name: Salt-dome sulfur), hosted in the Louann limestone and salt. The ore body has a depth-to-bottom of 365.76 meters and a depth-to-top of 274.32 meters. The depth to caprock is 700 feet, to the sulfur it is 900 feet and to the salt it is 1,200 feet. The volume of the salt was calculated at 1.8 cubic miles to 10,000 feet of depth. Local alteration includes the biogenic alteration of anhydrock to limestone. Local rocks include rocks of the Beaumont Formation, areas predominantly sand.

Local geologic structures include a piercement salt dome.

Workings include the wells and surface infrastructure necessary for the Frasch production of sulfur and the solution mining of salt.
