The lithology of the Qianjiadian IV uranium deposit is mainly fine sandstone, and there are many mudstone interlayers in the sand body, which constitute a relatively stable mudstone-sandstone stratigraphic structure and lithofacies conditions. The detrital components are mainly quartz, feldspar, debris, and a small amount of mica and heavy minerals. The carbonate cement content is between 0.5 wt% and 30 wt%, which is mainly ankerite, followed by calcite. The ore-bearing sand body has a moderate thickness, dense cementation, and poor permeability. The uranium minerals are predominately pitchblende, followed by coffinite and, to a lesser extent, brannerite. The grade of the uranium ores ranges from 0.0104 to 0.0287 wt% in the Qianjiadian uranium deposit.
