Large landslide deposit, including large boulders of rocks of the Piemonte Zone (calcschists with meta-ophiolites), along the right hydrographic slope of Troncea Valley, between Roccia Curba and Rio dell'Arcano, near the abandoned hamlet of Troncea.

The boulders, essentially originated from the rocks forming the summital area of the ridge Colle dell'Arcano-Bric di Mezzogiorno, are made of calcschists and intercalated grey micaceous marbles, mica schists and quartz schists; metabasites (prasinites, amphibolites and epidote amphibolite, chlorite schists, etc.); metagabbro.
