The Nyud intrusion consists of melanocratic norite (bottom part; up to 300 m thick), an olivine horizon (middle part; 6 km long and 100 m thick) and mesocratic norite (upper part; up to 350 m thick). The olivine horizon has ubiquitous fine-sulfide dissemination and includes orthopyroxenite, plagio-orthopyroxenite and melanonorite with varying olivine content.
