Genalguacil is a town and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia, in southern Spain. The municipality is situated approximately 45 kilometers from Ronda and 34 km from the city of Estepona. It is located in the west of the province in the Genal valley. It is one of the populations that make up the region of the Serrania de Ronda. Genalguacil is in the judicial district of Ronda.

Its Arabic name "Genna-Ahuacir" meant "Gardens of the Vizier".
