A former small underground Cu-Pb-Ag-Mo-Au mine group area located in the secs. 15 & 16, T20S, R24E, about 13 miles east of Tombstone on private land. Produced 1941-1950. Operators included S.E. Western, G.Y. McClendon, and William B. Crow.

Mineralization is spotty, oxidized copper and lead mineralization with gold and silver values in irregular quartz veins in the intrusive Gleeson Quartz Monzonite.

Workings include a few shallow shafts and tunnels. Sporadic, small ore production occurred in the early 1900s. The Gold Crown produced 30 tons in 1931, no account 144 tons 1937-1938 and 1940-1941.
A bit of historic background, the Signal Hill was used back in the Cavalry days when the Native Apache's were still roaming the area to signal the various outposts using mirrors of the location of the Apache's. This only lasted a few years until the telegraph came into use and the hill was abandoned for this purpose.
