Quartz veins embedded in amphibolite (and phlogopite schist) cropping out in the higher portion of Rio del Castello, between Alpe Cedo and Alpe Al Geccio (southern slope of Pizzo Ragno).

The typical paragenesis of these quartz veins consists of aschalmalmite, sometimes intimately admixed with heyrovskýite (Boscardin et al., 2013), in association with galena, pyrite, cerussite, and scheelite.

The mica mineral of the phlogopite schist and from the contact zone of quartz veins (in association with galena and pyrite) is fluorophlogopite (3 T-polytype).

Meionite crystals have been found in amphibolite, at the contact with gneiss and serpentinite, cropping out near Alpe Cedo, at an elevation of about 1600 m.

Provided coordinates, referred to the Aschamalmite site, are maybe not perfect: based on long time ago visit to the site and on indications in Boscardin 2013 (fig. 12, page 15).
