Alpine-type fissures containing pyrite, calcite, and sometimes hematite.
They tipycally occur in the roches moutonnées along the right orographic side of the Torvéraz brook (Torrente di Torvéraz/Torrent de Torvéraz). For the occurrences on the left side of the valley, see the localities Pointe Rousse and Pointe Rousse Pass.
Furthermore, whitish spherulic aggregates of probable aragonite have been found in the talus below Glacier de la Fourclaz-Mont de la Fourclaz.
