Glacial trough valley that cuts through parts of the Tavetscher Zwischenmassiv (small and low mountain chain between Aar and Gotthard massif) in the north and the northern Gotthard massif with. Rocks are mostly gneisses and schists. The locality is mentioned in Parker (1973) on page 148.
