Abandoned brucite marble quarry at an elevation of 1900 m. (instead 1750 m. as originally reported in [1] also in conflict with therein reported map).
This brucite marble, commercially known as pearl grey marble, is the product of contact metamorphism, originated from Cenozoic basaltic intrusions in Late Triassic dolostone (Dolomia Principale Formation).
